The new Cd "Tell The Story" has a special mission in mind for Laurie Marks Vincent. 

A mix of songs that Laurie has written, reflecting a Pop Gospel sound and the familiar hymns of the church set to refreshing, contemporary original arrangements that makes this Cd the melding of old and new, but the message is constant.    

Listening to the song, "Where The River Runs", can make the listener thirst for all the freedom and cleansing that the River of Life offers. "Stained With Love" takes you to the cross and once again draws on the message of life, mercy and love found through Christ Jesus.  "He Leads Us On" is the call out to the church to stand in position for victory and just like "A Heart For The Harvest", the title track, "Tell The Story" encourages us to share the message of God's Love and all that we have experienced through life in Christ, to the world.  

The hymns are worshipful and joyful with powerful vocals, celebrating King Jesus with "All Hail The Power" in an upbeat pop orchestration.  "Holy Holy Holy" is a jubilant duet with Kevin Pauls (Canadian Gaither Home Coming Artist). The warm tones of Laurie's vocals really shine in the unique rendition of "What A Friend" (We Have Iin Jesus) touching the heart with words of comfort that remind us of His faithfulness.  The medley has an easy going feel and includes the favourites such as "I Love To Tell The Story", "Sing the Wondrous Love of Jesus", "Victory in Jesus" and "Blessed Assurance" that encourages the audience can sing along.  

When it is all summed up, the message is about who He is, what He did, how He moves and How we live.  The result is something that can't be hidden....the mission?  Tell The Story!
