About Ministry

Her testimony mixed with the songs that she has written, tell the story of her personal journey suffering with Fibromyalgia, Depression and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She shares the pivoting moment after suffering for 13 years and how she walks into receiving healing as God's gift. This is a moving story and the angle that Laurie shares it, depends on whether it is general audience or speaking directly to women. Either audience will identify with many of Laurie's struggles as she shares her story and ministers through the songs that she has written while on that journey.

She may include familiar praise and worship music and at your request, a personal time of ministry and prayer for those who express a need for it. This works well for Womens' Ministry as well as a mixed audience. Laurie can minister with a few songs and a brief testimony, but the most effective is a 45 to 60 minute presentation.

She also speaks on other Biblically based subjects including "The Jesus ID", "The Elephant In My Pew" "The Ladder of Faith" "Finding Joy in Your Pain" and Christmas messages such as, "Mary's Side of the Story" and "The Missing Christmas Gift"

You can ask Laurie for the details on each of these or other topics, as well as whatever you may have in mind.

Common Question:

Why should I bring a ministry to my local body church?

It was not uncommon for the Apostles to visit the early church and then travel to another. Their purpose was to encourage maturity in their faith, sharing the tribulations and truth experienced in their personal walk and calling.

It is the same today. Visiting ministries who share their gifts and testimonies are refreshing and "open a window" to grow outside the walls or "seclusion" of a particular individual church body.  The nurturing of our Christian walk should not be limited to experiences and ministry that only comes from within our local body. It is important to embrace the calling of individuals and the opportunity to receive from those who minister globally to the body of Christ, as the Lord leads. In this way, the local body may experience new anointing and testimonies to enrich the spirit life of the local body.
