Her current CD “Love So Amazing” was like a catalyst of faith for Laurie while she endured a long battle with Fibromyalgia until The Lord miraculously and  completely healed her in 2001. 

In 2006 the title track was voted at number 29 then jumped to 22 out of 623 songs on the "American Idol Underground Faith Charts".  Although Laurie never aspired to become an "American Idol" (or an idol of any sort) she has seen encouraging responses from the industry.  Since then it has been in the American Idol top 50 Faith Charts seven times among the massive number of other songs enlisted (over 600) in the running for this chart. The song hit #6 on the same charts the last time it was on the charts in 2007.  This song and others from this CD have received airplay on many Christian radio stations in Canada , the United States and Europe.

"Love So Amazing", her latest release is a mix of Light Adult Contemporary, inspirational and a Contemporary Gospel sound. Produced by Rick Ash, award winning producer and nominee of the Shai Awards (formerly the Vibe Awards) and Canadian Gospel Music Association.
