Christian Music Artist Laurie Marks Vincent

Laurie has achieved accolades for her vocal skills or recordings, however she has not currently pursued awards today with any Christian or Gospel Association for her CDs, until such a time when the Lord directs her to do so.  

Some of Laurie's past achievements and awards consist of:  (in no particular order)

  • 2 time winner of a Ontario Canada wide talent search, voted best female vocalist
  • 1 time winner of a Ontario Canada wide talent search, duet division with her sister.
  • Winner of a secular talent search, voted best performance by audience appeal, singing a Christian song "New Lives For Old" by Wayne Watson
  • Featured artist in Magazines "Best of Life" and "Christian Women of Today"
  • Received the CanQuest Media Award for best web communication of ministry online.
  • She has been a panelist and judge for various Gospel music events and talent searches.
  • Has appeared on national television in Canada and in the United States several times.
  • She made the front page headline of her home town's newspaper that read "the little girl with the big voice" in her last year of highschool for a community performance.
  • the title track from her CD "Love So Amazing" was #6 from the top of more than 600 entries on the American Idol Faith Charts. (nominated online)
