Our BBA in Accounting program is New York State Education Department (NYSED) licensure-qualified, meaning you learn all the content required for the Certified Public Accountant examination. This creates a streamlined path for you to earn CPA licensure in New York and transition seamlessly into the workforce. 

Flexible Schedule for Senior Internships

Iona is committed to preparing students to be “Career Ready” upon graduation. As part of this commitment, students in their senior year who are pursuing full-time internships (which generally run from mid-January to mid-April) are offered flexible course schedules around their work hours while maintaining full-time student status. Many students receive full‑time job offers from their internship employers before they graduate.
